Faith that gets results

Foundational concepts of faith.
 
Habakkuk 2:4
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith.

Hebrews 11:1  KJV. Definition of faith.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Romans 12:3 NASB. Measure of faith. 
For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

Galatians 5:6. KJV.   Faith works by love. 
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth (means or has the power to do)  any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Galatians 5:6  NASB
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.

Faith is not a feeling.  Your feelings won't always agree with your faith.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,    (powerful, willing, faithful, listening, loving … etc)  and (believes) that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
